What the Equality, Diversity and Discrimination course covers
This is an online compliance & risk course you work through in your own time, on a phone, tablet or laptop. There are 10 modules to work through, and most people give it 70 minutes in total. The pace is entirely yours: sit it in an afternoon or spread it over a month.
Expect to cover What is Equality & Diversity , Equality and Diversity Legislation, What do we Mean by Discrimination and Promoting Diversity. 6 more modules follow those, all named on the Modules tab.
The provider grades it intermediate, so it moves through the fundamentals quickly rather than teaching them. We list 98 Compliance & Risk courses, of which 46 sit at Intermediate. Its study time is about mid-range for the subject. It carries CPD accreditation, which is what makes the hours usable on a CPD log, and the certificate downloads straight away.
The honest caveats: It is not an awareness course: if the subject is completely new to you, something introductory will be better value.

Course Description
Well if you take the words on their own they are actually quite different, equality is the state of being equal, especially in rights and opportunities.
Diversity is the state of being different or varied.
However, these 2 things should not be seen as opposite to each other, after all people can be different but they still have the same rights.
When it comes to places of work there is legislation in place to ensure that we all meet our responsibilities in relation to equality and diversity… And one way to make sure we meet these responsibilities is through training.
