What the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Certification Training covers

You take Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Certification Training online, at your own pace, without booking a place on anything. The material comes as 8 modules and takes about 4 hours end to end. Access runs for 12 months, so it doubles as something to check back against later.

The material takes in Course Overview, DevOps Basics, App Engine PaaS and Kubenetes Engine Overview. Another 4 modules follow, and the Modules tab lists every one of them.

It builds on the basics rather than covering them again, so it is the second course on a subject and not the first. We list 37 Cybersecurity courses, of which 20 sit at Intermediate. At this length it is one of the quicker ones in the subject. Completing it earns a certificate you can download - useful as evidence of training, and not the same thing as a graded qualification.

The honest caveats: It is not an awareness course: if the subject is completely new to you, something introductory will be better value. There is no CPD accreditation attached, which matters only if somebody has specifically asked you for it.
