What the Display Screen Equipment Awareness course covers
Display Screen Equipment Awareness runs online from start to finish, so you decide when you study and how much you cover at a time. The material comes as 7 modules and takes about 45 minutes end to end. You are not racing an expiry date, which is the difference between finishing a course and abandoning it.
The course works through Introduction, Legislation, Protecting Your Body and Adjusting Your Chair. 3 more modules follow those, all named on the Modules tab.
It starts from the beginning, so no previous workplace safety training is assumed. We list 19 Workplace Safety courses, of which 3 sit at Beginner. At this length it is one of the quicker ones in the subject. It carries CPD accreditation, which is what makes the hours usable on a CPD log, and the certificate downloads straight away.
The honest caveats: If you already work in workplace safety day to day, expect the early material to feel familiar.
